SMEC has maintained a leading market position in China's elevator industry since 1993 and is the first elevator company to be listed in the China's top 500 enterprises.
Company Performance
Since its establishment, each year SMEC has maintained high growth rate. In 2017, its annual income was close to ¥ 20 billion (US $ 3.2 billion), and its annual output of elevators and escalators was over 70,000 units. By the end of 2017, SMEC has delivered more than 700,000 units accumulatively.
Research & Development
By sincere cooperation with Mitsubishi Electric, SMEC introduces and develops state-of-the-art elevator technologies.
SMEC has a national level R & D center of elevator technology. By the end of 2017, SMEC has acquired 1268 patent licensing, among which 1122 are invention patents.
